Art for youth
On Weds 10 and Thurs 11th October Art for Youth UK is hosting an exhibition of around 150 artists based in the UK in The Mall Galleries, London. It is a huge event with all money raised through sales going to the charity that helps youth get back on their feet. The exhibition is by invitation only on Weds and Thurs evening, however it is completely free during the day.
As posted on a previous entry my work is different this year, being in colour and getting very up close and personal with plants and flowers. The pictures are graphic and intriguing, I am looking forward to seeing how they go down.
I will be having a busy Autumn out in the field preparing work for next year.
My next exhibition will be in Swyre, Dorset, as part of Dorset Art Weeks. Dates are yet to be released however it'll be around Whitsun (end of May!). My theme for that will be seashore and I am aiming to show four large scale dramtic black and white images, supported by a dozen or so digital prints getting up close and personal with the seashore.

This Summer
Oscar, Maddie and I have spent a happy Summer in the rain doing lots of watercolour paintings, and recently pictures done in food dye using straws and our powerful breath! Once scanned be prepared to see some of these here.
Art for Youth
Week commencing 8th October I am exhibiting five colour photographs at art for youth in the Mall galleries, London. This is a new departure for me as I have never exhibited colour work before. The pictures are close ups on plants, I am hoping to follow this up at Dorset Arts Weeks in May 2008 with a similar exhibition but focusing on the seashore.

I'm back
after just under a year I have decided to make an entry that no one will ever read, hurrah. I am in the doldrums artistically and need some inspiration, any help gratefully received.
